Castrol wanted the launch of the new lubricant to Ford’s dealerships to be more than a run of the mill communications event. The launch pack was therefore sent out in a brushed aluminium tin housing a memory stick, a scalpel and a blank pad of paper with the design motif taken from the video to highlight the fact that Ford and Castrol started from scratch when it came to creating the new lubricant.
